What is the best way to begin moving up in snowboarding?
August 25th, 2008 | by admin |I live in the south and we never get snow. How can I get good a snowboarding and secure at Burton sponsorship?
I will be snowboarding only once or twice a year and I need to make the most of that time. What can I do to improve my skills without actually snowboarding?

to move up in snowboarding you need to use either the chair lift or the t-bar, then you can move down

wakeboarding is the closest you’ll get to snowboarding, so do that if possible. skateboarding will help too. work on air awareness and grabs on a trampoline. strap in and hop to it. to get sponsored, first get good, then get video footage and photos and take them to local shops and try to get shop sponsored. take it from there.

Try taking small jumps, and then when that’s to easy hit the bigger ones, then move on to maybe twisting or tricking out your jump a little. (If you want to really up your skills go riding for maybe a week with a 4 day pass. In those four days you will learn sooo much.)
