there is usually a few different sizes, youth, women, adult so they will fit different, you dont want to put adult bindings on a youth board because then the bindings stick a few inches out of the board and it messes up the center plate and ur bindings. if you are looking at flow bindings though DONT GET THE ONES FROM 2003-2007 they have tendancy to unstrap themselves up the lift or down the hill. i dont like burton bindings because they wear out easily and they break and pieces cost BIG money! flow bindings rip up your boots fast. i would reccomend K2 and they have youth youthXL and then womens which has many sizes and mens which have like small medium large and XL
There are a few different sizes of binding depending on the brand. the bindings are different sizes more to fit you boots than your board but you should make sure your bindings are not too big for your board. just make sure when you are buying bindings you have your boots there too to make sure they fit.
another thing to watch out for is the baseplate screw pattern and how is relates to the board screw pattern. i know for sure that new burton boards have a 2 or 3 screw pattern (most brands have 4 screws) so just make sure your baseplate is compatible.
dont get flow bindings cos they suck. reasons why are detailed in another of my answers if you care to search.
most bindings and boards nowadays are pretty universal so you can mix and match your board binding setup you will run into the 3 hole setup for a burton board but brands like ride come with compatible disks so you can fit it on there. Burtons uninc series has a 2 hole pattern which im not too crazy about but most bindings should have the compatible disks

Most are on the four bolt pattern. Burton uses the 3 bolt pattern But the plate in the binding is changable to fit either one.
