I want to help design snowboards for snowboard companies as a subcontractor, how do I get started?

if you deign a snowboard that you feel can be produced draw it in 3-d and render it. Then present it to companies. Explain to them why your design is better than the rest, then when you do that explain it again. Get it into their head that your design is the best.
The best way to arrange a meeting with the companie is to email them. Expalin why you would like to meet and insist your snowboard design will blow them away.
You may be able to present your design to multiple companies. If they all like it it gives you the oppurtunity too start a bidding war. The most important thing is to 2 up the current best design.
A snowboard sells for 2 or 3 grand so you might be onto a good idea here.
I don’t recomend quiting your day job as there is a chance that this good idea will fail, but none the less good luck.

You should probably start with contacting a company and getting an interview…
I found this nice list of sites if you need any of them:
I hope this helps you =)
