There are several brands on the market, built for different vehicles. Yakima, Thule, are just a couple of names. I know they start in the low $200 and go up from there. I saw one at GI Joe’s last year, they may carry them still. Also check REI.com. Have fun.

Ballpark cost for a full rack (meaning you have no factory roof racks at all) will run you about $350 to start. The Foot Packs are about $140, the Fit Kits start around $50, Load Bars are about $50, and the basic 4-ski rack is $110. (all parts Thule.) If you have a factory rack all you need is the ski rack and the Thule Fat Mouth clamps. I think they are about $50, so rack clamps will run you about $160 new.

Cargo boxes range in prices depending on the material and the size.

You can pick the stuff up at a discount if to are a Ski Patroller or Instructor. Also if you work for a gear store you can get Thule and Yakima on pro-deal. Both ways save you boucoup bucks!

We bought our Thule ski box for $300 CN on sale. We used to have a ski rack which was about $150 CN.
