podiumwax.com has great wax that is race quality, easy to apply, good for your base, and incredibly fast. its a little more expensive than the stuff mentioned above but since its a rub on opposed to something you melt on it lasts way longer and takes way less time and effort to apply and you get an even better glide for longer. this stuff is absolutely amazing and i swear by it. my ski racer friend recently used this in Junior Olympics and got first! also multiple people in the X and Stomp games are on it and do incredibly well.

i buy the reel cheap canning wax at grocery stores, i believe its called Gulf wax. You get like 4 big blocks of it in a box.
Say what you want, it works great and i am just as fast if not faster than my friends.
