What is the best brand of wax to use on snowboards?

January 1st, 2009 | by admin |

I like to wax my snowboard by myself. But im not sure the wax im using is the best. Any suggestion?
Thanks to both of you! I really liked the KUU wax but I think that the NOTwax looks easier to apply. I’ll go with that one and see how it goes. Once again thanks so much!

There are lots of good waxes out there. For most recreational riders, any snowboard base wax is OK. I prefer KUU waxes: they have a full line from inexpensive all-temp wax to high end race formula. Check it:
They also provide a free tuning guide. it covers a lot that you don’t have to worry about, but akes good reading if your are interested:

The best wax to use is not actually wax at all! I like to use Zardoz Notwax which is the worlds slipperiest base lubricant. Its easier to apply, as its an inert (it cant dry up or evaporate) liquid. You just rub it on with the felt pad and go shred. It specifically for skis and snowboards. Id definitely recommend this over wax!

    Zardoz Notwax!
