You can also read rider reviews of the boards at.

Personally I think the Custom X is a really amazing board (I almost bought one at the end of last season) but it is on the pricey side. If you do get one, I agree that you should get an '07 board as there is often very little to justify the '08 prices (unless you count new artwork)

I use a Burton Blunt '07 and love it. It's very good for east coast riding. It's amazing in the park. I highly suggest a Burton of any type.

New boards are just another excuse to ramp up the prices, in my opinion, there are usually very little structural differences in new boards, but the differences can be around 150~200 sometimes at the markets. If you want the latest fashion trend, go ahead, but if you digging deep in your pockets, i recommend just the 07 boards. In terms of boards, I've only ridden the Burton Dominant(heavy :[ ), and the Academy Rhythm(better choice), so I've had a bad experience with Burton ever since.

All the boards you have mentioned are very good all round boards. The seven is a bit more freestyle orientated than the other two and is a twin tip so would be good for riding switch. The other two boards have a directional shape and are a bit better for freeriding and riding in powder than the seven would be. The custom X is more stiff than both the other two boards but not by that much all three boards are fairly stiff.
I dont know what your level of riding is but if you are fairly new to snowboarding id go for either the seven or the custom as they are easier and more forgiving to ride than the custom x which is quite an advanced board.

I really like the Custom X. It's a great overall snowboard. Great for park/resorts, good for powder snow, jumps, and even pipes. The price is up there, but the quality pays off. I would go for that one, and the 07 one is probably 30% off now, so that another 190$ off, which helps out. Hope this helps.
