What is a good snowboard to buy for a beginner?
February 20th, 2009 | by admin |I can already get down the slopes, but am still at the beginning level. What would be a good snowboard to buy? I wouldn’t want it to be that expensive, but it should be somewhat good.
Also, I am about 6′3 and skinny. What size snowboard should I go for?

its a great all around board aimed towards beginners
you should get it in a size 161 or 161 wide if you have big feet
retails at $350

try a 5150 snowboard. its a beginner/intermediate board. many are pretty cheap. but rest assured they are good boards. they are fast! and have a solid wood core. so yeah. 6′3 and skinny try to get a board that when you stand next to it, the board length is between your nose, and your chin. that’s the right height.
heck yes
also depending on your style of riding will determan the size. for freestyle, get a board thats below your chin. it helps for spins, and grabs. but for anything else, stick to between your chin and nose
snow rules.
