What kind of skis and snowboard should i get?

February 18th, 2009 | by admin |

I had been skiing since I was relatively little. I stopped because of an injury and then started up again recently. I haven’t done any freestyle so I guess you could call me a beginner in that sense. I was wondering what kind of twin tips to get. Also I was wondering what kind of snowboard to get for a beginner.

Aside from that do you guys have any tips for going off and landing jumps along with simple grinds and tricks?

There are heaps of snowboards for beginners… Just head to a store and check them out. Normally it will come between your shoulders and mouth.

If you plan on riding the hills, you want a longer board, if you plan more for tricks you want a shorter board.

    Some good brands are:
    Tech Nine,
    Rome,
    K2,
    Salomon,
    Burton,
    Ride

    I recommend K2 and Slamon.

    Those are great brands!
You can locate them on ebay and amazon.

    Hope it helped!
