What snowboard should I buy and how do I get better at it?

March 3rd, 2009 | by admin |

I am 5-10, about 160 and am looking to buy a snowboard and boots. I am not that great at snowboarding but am looking to try and get out more. I have had lessons and been out a couple times but am pretty bad at it and am looking to get better. Besides getting out more, are there anythings I can do to get better at it? Thanks!

swing your … stay on your heels and toes once you get it the rest jumping all the fun stuff comes easy if you are in deeper powder stay on your back foot all the bumps strains and bruises are worth it as far as the board that depends on the type of riding you want to do (back country, half pipe) there are many types of boards talk to your local board shop to gain some knowledege on different brands

    Visit the Frosty Rider site
There is a snowboard size calculator there and for getting better there is a tips forum. I find it easy to use and fun :)
