What is the best snowboard for a beginner?

you can find a cheap snowboard package (boots, bindings, and board), I would also recommend lamar as a starter board. They have a good lamar package on there for $270 with free shipping. It should be flexible enough for your weight and the 144 length matches your height. Hope this is helpful.
